When life is crazy busy & there’s a lot going on som people just go about their business & get shit done………..that’s The Quiet Achiever……….calm in the chaos.
An exercise in looseness, being free & easy with my watercolour brush strokes, embracing the drips, splatters, smudges & runs.
The busy, repetitive, black design encompasses the character, threatening to take them down, but the vibrant yellow strikes a positive contrast & hold off the encroaching surrounds & makes the character pop from the paper, arms outstretched like wings, with the freedom of a bird to fly away.
