Description
Inspired by a beach walk after a big swell, this work is an abstract visual representation  of the ugly, briny tangle of seaweed, shells, and barnacled cunjevoi (sea squirts) washed ashore & marking the high tide.
A passerby identified the squat, leathery creatures as good fishing bait, usually found clinging to rocks near the low tide mark.
