Creativity – Give it the time it deserves

After many years of practicing art as the side hustle, always wanting it to be the main hustle,

Tony made the big step of promoting his creative practice to his main priority.

What difference did it make?

It changed everything!

Although Tony created on a regular basis it was always squeezed into the only time available after all the life chores were completed,

creating was done by muscle memory and his artistic output was not evolving.

Once Tony rearranged his priorities and put art first the changes were dramatic.

He had time to research and be inspired by the environment around him, by books, music, podcasts, and other artists. Change began to take place and Tonys style loosened up, the scale of work increased, the depth and complexity of his work increased and the output increased.

Having multiple works on the go at one time meant the new level of output was not forced or rushed, giving each work time to  progress and marinate made the creative process organic and free flowing.

The new way of working meant focusing on being creative, not focusing on the outcome.

Creativity – give it the time it deserves and the results will be outstanding.
