Using unconventional materials as canvas to remove the mystique of art and make it more approachable for everyone.
Curved lines are a repeated theme in Tonys work. Influenced by lines, shapes and colour repeated in nature surrounding us, whether that be country or coast.
The outline of a mountain range against a crisp blue sky, veins in a leaf, the unique colours of native flowers, curves of the coastline, the never ending depths of blue hues of the ocean, the contrast of Australian seasons, grass burnt yellow by the summer sun, brushfires, regeneration, river routes cut through the land, our environment is a never ending source of inspiration.
Pair these influences with wider influences coming from music and song lyrics, road trips, coffee, tattoos, street art, found objects/recycled materials, faces and portraiture and you have an expansive, plethora of ideas which feed into Tonys creative process.
