We constantly build heat sinks, concrete & asphalt metropolis’ spreading wide & devouring all greenery in its path.
What we need is to build smarter, incorporate plants & create a healthy, breathing, symbiotic environment which is beneficial for both humans & plants to coexist & thrive.
I wanted “Companion planting” to represent a snapshot of what a modern, well designed, green urban precinct could look like. Structured, but with flow. Built environment blending with botanical environment.
Cities that look like they are almost taken over by plants. Cities that breathe like plants.
We are all companions.
